Options payoff diagram

Enter strikes, premiums, and legs manually — or search a ticker to fill spot from ingested closes. With one shared expiry, the chart shows expiration profit and loss. With calendars or other multi-expiry positions, pick a payoff horizon and see staged P&L. Break-even levels and max gain or loss follow the same position. This position carries to the calculator and scenario tools in the same browser.

How to use it

When every option leg shares one expiry, this tool plots payoff at expiration — intrinsic value only, no time decay or vol path before that date.

When legs have different expiry dates (calendars, diagonals, poor man's covered call, etc.), choose a payoff horizon. Legs expiring on that date settle at intrinsic; later legs stay open and are marked at fill-implied IV while spot varies on the chart. Calculator and scenarios still price each leg on its own expiry clock.

Strategy names (bull call spread, iron condor, custom, and so on) are detected from your legs or set when you load a preset. It does not model early assignment or vol shocks on the payoff chart.

Premium is entered per share (as quoted on most US equity option chains). Contract P&L uses your contract count × multiplier (default 100).

Load an example to start quickly — single legs, spreads, straddles, condors, butterflies, covered calls, protective puts, and more. Stock legs use cost basis and share count; options use premium per share × contracts × multiplier (default 100).
